The Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws was previously known as the ‘Kulliyyah of Laws’, one of the two Kulliyyahs formed at the inception of IIUM in 1983. In 2000, it was proclaimed as Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), in honour of the late Emeritus Professor Tan Sri Ahmad bin Mohamed Ibrahim, the founding father of the Kulliyyah.
